What is your question?
I am thinking of buying a Cadillac 2005 Deville Sedan. It is perfect in town, but on the highway at 65 to 75 it shimmies constantly. Should I buy thid car? What would it take to repair it?

Could be as simple as wheel balance and or tire wear. Have a shop or tire shop check it before you buy it.
Not sure if the word is shimmy. It vibrates from 65-78 mph. Not a whole lot, but you feel it, and it is steady. Otherwise seems OK. Is alignment expensive? Thinking of buying this used ccar from a friend. Otherwise it is in very good condition.
An alignment will correct a pull in steering to one side or the other, not a shimmy. Have the tires checked for wear, if in good condition, have the tires balanced.
I tookk it to a locl tire mechanic. He said what you said.. nothing major. At most tie-rod, but probbly just blance and allignment.
