The temp, control on passenger side indicate it is working fine it still blows hot no matter what you put it on.

The door actuator motor is broke and needs replacement....common problem your local shop can fix.
I had the same problem. I would shut the car down with ac on. Try turning off ac before shutting the car down. It fixed my car.
