On a rainy day,I was turning into my driveway and my wheel would not steer into the driveway. It also made a strange noise at the same time. Then it was ok a few minutes later.

The samething happened to me going to the coast one weekend. It's just your belt is slipping . I took my caddy to sears and they put on a new belt and it stopped slipping and no more problems since. Also it will happen alot more if you drive thru water puddles . Be careful with it until you get the belt changed .
