Hello, If the lighted buttons on the steering wheel are not lighting, but the buttons still function, you may have a bad fuse or a bad clock spring. The clock spring allows power to run to the steering wheel without running wires from the steering column to the steering wheel. That's because wires would wrap around the steering column and break every time you turn. It sits behind the steering wheel, and has multiple circuits. I would advise getting the service manual and testing each circuit before and after the coil to compare readings.
