Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! Uneven cooling between the driver and passenger side on a DeVille is a classic dual zone climate control hiccup. Since the passenger side is blowing cold and happy while the driver side is slacking on the job, the blend door actuator on the driver side is the first place worth looking. These actuators control the mix of cold and warm air for each zone independently and when one starts to fail it can get lazy about delivering full cold air. A low refrigerant level can sometimes cause uneven cooling as well but since one side is working perfectly that points more toward an airflow control issue than a refrigerant problem. Visit RepairPal.com to find a trusted shop in your area that can get both sides of your DeVille singing the same cool tune!
