There is something leaking behind the motor in the center slightly on the driver's side. I can't look anywhere to actually see where the leak is coming from but can see the steam coming from in between the motor and the firewall.

Hello, presence of steam usually indicates that there is a coolant leak of some kind. This is most likely caused by a leaking hose or coolant pipe, or perhaps a clamp that has failed. In less frequent cases it could be due to an engine core plug leak. The best first step to take is have a cooling system pressure test performed to see where the coolant leaks out of under pressure without the vehicle running.
