It sounds like a baron going bad.Which pulley would have a baron.

There are several pulleys with bearings on your northstar Caddy engine so what I often do is spray some WD-40, first on the belt avoiding any pulleys, if the noise clears then it may just be a glazed belt. If the noise persists, I would turn on and off my AC system, you can do this by turing OFF your climate control, if the noise changes, then it may be an AC compressor pulley. If there is no noise change then I use red tube that comes with the WD-40 and point it at different belt driven devices until the culprit goes quiet.
