anti theft system problem car may not start message displayed.What type service?

My Lincoln town car did that last night and I took battery cable off waited couple of minutes put the cable end back and started no problem good luck let me know if it helps sounds like computer problem need to have a diagnostic done

What is the battery voltage? Need a good battery then disarm rearm and disarm the system. If it doesn't start then off to the shop.
