I was driving on the highway when out nowhere, the red oil light comes on and there was nothing when i hit the gas i pull over and turn car off, the car would not turn back over but all the lights were still on the temp was about 234 a little hot but i know its not a problem until 255. if any one can tell me whats wrong i despretly need help thank you

234 is WAY too hot. Water boils at 212 and so does your oil. It sounds like you may have severely over heated your engine and possibly seized it. 195-205 is a normal operating range unless your gauge is way off. I think that the engine may be damaged sorry to say.
i had that problem at one time come to find out that i did not have the right amoumt of oil in my car insteed of 5qts of oil 1996 devilles need 7qts of oil
