Replaced crankshaft sensor, now the car will not start...???

Replaced the crankshaft sensors, because the car keep stall while I was driving with kids... It ran great, I took it to Oklahoma City. Driving back home the temperature gauge went up warm and I back down, and it keep doing this. I got in my drive way, and it died again! Now it will not start!!! Can some help me, I'm a single mother!!! My dad just looked at it, it starts but doesn't idle....
