Turn steering wheel, screeching sound. When I idle (like at dtop light) vibratse ans makes loud humming noise. In addition the drivers side front windos works only on rare occasion, What's the skinny?

The screeching sound is probably the drive belt slipping because it's loose or worn out. If it's been slipping it needs to be replaced anyway. The humming noise is a mystery, you haven't given me much to go on so I'll guess that the power steering fluid is low. I'd say that the window problem is due to a worn switch or motor in the door, or not uncommon, that the wiring in the doorjamb is fatigued and broken.
