1994 Caddy DeVille Replace side view mirror glass only. Electric/Light Sensitive. Does it just snap out or is there a special technique or tool ? Thanks for any tips. Tom
Thank you j,atx I've had so much really bad luck with this car that I'm paranoid about leaving my hood unchained & locked now ! ! I had a Lincoln Continental (talk about "Lemons") that had the glass inserts swiped off the car several times - I actually started popping the glasses off every night & stashing them under the seat. That bright idea cost me a freakin' Parking Ticket ! Can you believe - Welcome to life in "FunCity" NYC. I have a new glass insert coming from "RockAuto.com" brand new for like $12. Thanks for supporting my idea to just pull off the old mirror assembly.
