What is your question?
I will be driving down the road and my cadillac will just die. It didn't do it all the time, just once in a while. This past Sunday I went to visit my mother and it wouldn't crank at all. The engine is turning over, kinda acts like it is out of gas.I had to have it towed home. It acts like it is going to crank for a second, but it never does. What could the problem be?

If you have the 4.9 with an HEI distributor, change the module under the distributor cap. cost me about $35 AFTER I had it towed 4 times, replaced the fuel pump, crank trigger and filters.
fuel pump everytime.your fuel filter needs to be swapped around every 30,000 miles to prevent the fuel pump from over working itself.if it turns but no start,or turns and starts for like a second, then more and likely this is your problem.mine did the same thing.also, check the fuse to the fuel pump.its located under the hood on the driver side.little black box about 6 inches long.cant miss it.
