The key fob batteries are low or dead and the dealer says we need to replace the whole fob. Why? Also the sensors in the door were replaced due to earlier problems with the doors not unlocking. Do the fobs have to be reprogrammed for the car?
Hello, I can't imagine why you would have to replace the fob instead of merely the batteries. I don't know of a situation where even programming is needed after merely replacing the batteries.
