Cost estimate to replace Driver Information Center. The display went out

What is your question?

My wife took the car on a trip and the Driver Information Center display went out. She took it to a Cadillac dealer near by and the machanic tapped the dash and the light came back on but went out again?

What makes this problem better or worse?

No difference in cold or hot engine temperatures. The DIC display did come on once when tapping the dash area

How long has your 2010 Cadillac CTS had this problem?
