What is your question?
If the radio is working when I turn the car on, it will stop when I hit a bump. I usually feel like it is affected more from the back end of the car. And vice versa. If it's not working and I hit a bump, it will come back on. Any ideas?

Original GM radio, no modifications? Sounds like a wiring issue or perhaps an amplifier issue. Even the audio unit itself. Can't really tell without some hands on testing, and even then -- you may be guessing along the way as there's no real good diagnostic process for this. Hello, when you say it overheated -- do you mean the temperature gauge went all the way up? Do you mean that the coolant boiled over? If you only drove a half mile, it sounds almost like a stuck thermostat. But it requires hands on testing to know for sure.
