I need to know how to stop them

Open the under hood fuse box and find fuse 59. It is located mid panel on the left. The fuse is marked "WPR MOD" and is a 30 amp. Wait until the wipers are approaching the bottom of the wipe and pull the fuse. Another way is to disconnect the terminal at the wiper motor if it is easily accessible.
Will that solve the issue? If I put the fuse back in will it work properly Again?
The wipers will start up again when the fuse is reinstaled
