Ok so my issue with my 06 cts 3.6 is that it starts and all but car will not move when I put my foot on gas. It shifts in gears good but car just doesn’t wanna move in drive or reverse. Any clue on to what it might be?

Sadly, it sounds like your transmission is refusing to engage forward or reverse gears. First, if you can - check your transmission fluid level and condition. If not full or compromised in condition, the transmission may not engage in gear.
If the fluid is not a concern, you could have an electronically controlled transmission concern or an internal hydraulic transmission concern. Determining what is going on will require hands on testing, checking for any trouble codes that may be set in the powertrain modules and checking various transmission functions.
