there are so many things that the Icons can represent. I would check your factory owners manual.

the snowfake is for AC

The gear with the "S" is for Sport mode, which when activated causes the transmission to shift at higher revs for more performance. The snowflake is to activate advanced tranction control, the car will start off in 3rd gear for when road conditions are slippery (like snow/slush/etc)
