why do my windshied wipers run all the time?????

Hello, This is likely failure of the multifunction switch that controls the windshield wipers or the wiper relay. Check the windshield wiper motor relay, if it does not have one, you likely have a windshield wiper control module or the relay is integrated into the body control module. Next, check to see if the multi-function switch is providing power to the wipers when they should be off. This would be evident by removing the fuse for the windshield wipers and finding that there is power on the side leading to the multi-function switch only. Also, you could remove the switch and see if it is sending power at all times with the key on.
