I don't recall any manuals that have the pictures that you ask for, even the factory manuals aren't that specific, unless it is say, rebuilding a Transmission. http://bit.ly/mitchell_repair_manuals_online This should have the location of the thermostat, don't be surprised if you have to remove the top half of the Intake Manifold, the newer Caddy uses a SAAB V6 and the thermostat is pretty buried.
