no power to fuel pump

u might want to try pounding on tank with a 2x4 with key on and see if fuel pump starts running

There is a fuel cutoff on most cars nowadays. Its a safety switch that cuts off power to the fuel pump in case of an accident. Usually all you have to do is reset it, if you can find it. I think it is located in the trunk on these cars.
