Car looses power when parked

Hello, I would look at battery cables for one thing. It sounds like there could be some kind of loose connection going on. Secondarily, I'd look at the sensor that shows shift lever position. If it doesn't see "park" or "Neutral" you won't get engine cranking. However, you will get lights and dash components to work, so I revert to the electrical and cable concern.
