What is your question?
How can I soften the ride of my Buick Verano so it doesn't ride so firm? I feel every strip on the road and on a rough road I feel Like I am in a buckboard wagon.
What makes this problem better or worse?
It's worse driving over a rough road. On a smooth road it's fine.
How long has your 2016 Buick Verano had this problem?
Almost as soon as I bought the car.

Hello, first check your tire air pressure. Over inflated tires can cause poor ride quality - and fixing this is as easy as adjusting the air to the proper level per the placard on the driver's door jamb. If that's already in range, check tire condition and quality. Tires that are original may have dry rotted to a point where ride quality can be affected. Also, wear patterns can cause abnormal rides. If you've changed the tires already and the problem began after that, consider that the tires on the vehicle may not be best for comfort. It would be good to evaluate that. Lastly, beyond all things tires - checking your suspension to ensure the springs are in good shape (not broken) and that the shock absorbers are not leaking or perhaps bouncing excessively -- or worse yet, frozen causing poor ride is a good next step. DaveJM, Thank you for your response. I wonder if replacing springs, struts, and shocks would solve the problem? Your thoughts? Is it possible that the 2016 Buick Verano has a sport suspension?
