Shifter won't move

What is your question?

In the winter time, it is difficult to get the push button on the shifter to go down, to put the car into drive, reverse, etc. Sometimes it can take a half hour or so of pushing the button before it will finally go into gear. Anybody else have/had this problem?

Yes! I also have a 98 Riv, same issue when it's cold. Annoying as all hell.

my daughters has the same problem..you have to wait ten minutes until it warms up..
