What's wrong with my ignition? Why won't my car start?

What is your question?

Everytime I try to start my 95 Riviera, the security light just flashes or stay on. I have to wait at least 15 minute then try again, sometimes it starts up & sometimes it don't. What can be the problem & how can I go about resolving the problem?

It sounds like a power problem, like intermittent low battery voltage, or cabling issue. I don't know of an intermittent security light issue, especially with a factory security system.

I put a new battery in, it starts sometimes and run for a couple of minutes. Then, sometimes it just won't start at all. I was told that it may have something to do with the passlock and/or passkey!
