What is your question?
I have a 2007 buick rendezvous CXL FWD. Last winter i had a problem where the door ajar light would come on. I sprayed WD-40 and lubed all the doors. It didnt work, until one day i noticed when i open and closed the rear passenger door the light would go off until i opened the driver side door again, where it would then say the door is ajar. Eventually the problem went away, until today where i went to use the rear doors and the light came back on, except this time closing/opening the rear doors doesnt remove the light. I would like to know if anybody has dealt with anything like this, or if anybody has any information on how this cars door ajar light is actually (mechanically/electrically) triggered, so i can go about trying to fix it. A wiring diagram, anything. I've had 4 10-20 year career heavy duty equipment mechanics look at the problem last year when it happened, they were all stumped. So i'm hoping for any kind of help please.
How long has your 2006 Buick Rendezvous had this problem?
On/Off 2 years.

The door ajar signal comes from within the door latch itself. There is a wire connector that attaches. In some vehicles, the wire connector could be suspect. The latch and attaching rod may be out of adjustment. There is a product improvement bulletin regarding these components -- PI0011C. Although the bulletin is not specifically for your warning light concern, other things can be negatively affected by the condition. www.repairpal.com/repair-shops
