How many gallons/miles left after "low fuel' warning light comes on?

NOT good to let that low fuel light come on.fuel is what keeps the fuel pump running cool and efficient. if you continue to run it that low or lower on fuel, the pump will over heat and sooner than later will burn the pump motor up.Costly to replace,$700.00-$1000.00! good rule of thumb, when fuel gauge gets to 1/4 tank, consider that as empty and re-fuel it....
ok,but i don't believe anyone can give you an accurate answer because many things factor into your question, like speed, road conditions, engine wear, tire pressure, driving up hills, weather can even play a part in fuel mileage. if you want a guess,go fill it up(write down the gallons it took to fill it up),drive it until that low fuel light comes on,pull in closest gas station, fill it back up,write down gallons it took to fill it up,subtract that from 1st fill up,the difference will be somewhere close to how many gallons were left in the tank after 2nd fill up,2-3 gallons i would guess, but really means"get fuel now"! copy and paste the link below.... https://tankonempty.com/viewcar/Buick/Rendezvous
Not the answer to my question. I know what you are saying. I just want to know for my own edification. I have the owners manual in my lap, but it doesn't say. Somewhere I saw 11%, but I can't take that to the bank. But, thanks for considering my question!
