Car wont start makes cough noise when trying to start

Hello. It's so hard to know how to direct someone with a "noise" that is present, because we can't hear noises via this forum. I would strongly recommend a local shop near you have a listen, because they can probably easily direct you properly to whatever protocol of testing is required to get you back running again. www.repairpal.com/repair-shops "Cough noise" could be as severe as an internal engine timing problem, or could be as basic as a fuel / air mixture concern, with ignitions spark issues too. Just impossible to guess from here. Good luck!
