On the 2.4L Buick Regal cxl FWD. When switching out the Rack and Pinion is there anything that an Intermediate mechanic might overlook? I replaced rack and pinion along with both front CV axles sway bar link and strut assembly. after putting it back together now it's heating up quickly around the exhaust manifold / Catalytic converter. Why would it be heating up like that? oddly leaking power steering fluid from line that connects to the rack and pinion.

Repair any leaks first. That's important. As far as "heating up quickly" - those components do get extremely hot. Not sure why this is a concern?
