Sometimes the (check engine light) comes on, but mostly it does not. I have seen articles about the mileage when this seems to be happening in the range of 70,000. About 83 2011Regal Buicks have done this. Is there a recall, and I have not been notified? I have not gotten any noises or leaks, but the car does drive rough.
What makes this problem better or worse?

Hello, It's very unlikely that a recall applies to your concern, however, contact your local GM dealership with your VIN handy to find out for sure. Engine performance issues causing a vehicle to stall are rooted in a fuel system, air intake system or ignition system issue. Testing is needed to find out what is failing. It can be resolved.
