What is your question?
Dealer quoted $4000 to fix it. 167000miles was sold to me by dealership in 2018 with 111000iles and now come to find out that these transmission has a defect but no recall and no help in getting it fixed now. Gm or buick one need to stand behind there products and get this issue fixed for those of us that had no idea there was a problem with these transmission til it was to late for warranty to cover! I love my Buick regal 2011. Just want it fixed and drivable again.
How long has your 2011 Buick Regal had this problem?
I think it had a problem when I bought it it always shifted hard.

Hello, I'm so sorry - but it's hard to realistically think that a Buick transmission should last longer than the 167,000 miles you have. It doesn't sound like a "known defect" would wait 167,000 miles to occur. Unfortunately, this is the price we pay when we purchase and operate high mileage vehicles. Things do happen, and expenses are not "fixed" like with new vehicles. Check some shops near you for competitive bids to make needed repairs. www.repairpal.com/repair-shops
