I have a 2000 buick Regal GS. I have both ABS
And traction light on. As well service engine soon. I checked on scanner shows code C1241
Im been reading on GM tech Line that a wire might be grounding out. Or low voltage from alternator. Is this a common problem on buick regals? And what you recommend me to do?

I am not seeing any service bulletin for this code. The diagnostic routine does have you performing circuit testing for the Magnetic Steering Variable Assist (MSVA) system, which is adversely affected and sets the code.
Interestingly enough, ABS and Traction Control warning lights are not supposed to illuminate because of this code.
