Brakes dont just go to floor for no reason, or go air bound, if thats the case, for no reason. check the fluid level under the hood, could be a hydraulic leak, given the age of the car... If your not brake savvy, you should consider taking it to someone who is. Your not only taking your own life in your hands, you can put other people in danger as well.
