To remove the lock and cylinder from the steering column you will need to first remove the battery power from the car. Then you will need a steering wheel removal kit and a tilt steering pin removal kit. Remove the hoen cover by removing the tiny screws on the back side of the steering wheel. Then the horn wire and or air bag wire plug in needs to be removed being very carefull not to break any wires or plastic connectors. After removing these items you will see the center nut that holds the steering wheel down, remove it. Then use the removal kit to press the steering wheel away from the steering shaft. After removing steering wheel there will be a loaded contact plate that has a keeper clip around the steering shaft. You will have to preload the plate with the steering kit to remove the keeper clip. After removal of the keeper and the plate you will see screws that hold down the turn signal cam assembly. Remove the 3 philip screws and gently pull plastic cam assembly up with out breaking it about 2-2 and a half inches. You will see 1 single torx screw in the aera of the lock and cylinder. Remove that screw and pull lock and cylinder out of chamber. Reinstall in reverse procedure.
