How to fix passlock system to keep it from activating?

The security light shows on my dash and the DIC says unknown driver on my 2004 Buick Rainier cxl 5.3L awd. I have to keep resetting the passlock system by doing the relearn procedure to get it to start. Is there any way to fix it so it will not keep doing this?

What makes this problem better or worse?

I do not know if it has anything to do with the passlock system but when I use the heated seats it seems to trigger it and then my doors stop locking as well.

How long has your 2004 Buick Rainier had this problem?
