My odometer works ocassionaly what could be the problem

Odometer stopped working , one day it started to work then quite in a day, what could be the problem?

often instrument cluster may have a stepper motor problem, occasionally there may be a sensor problem not providing the proper input to the instrument cluster, That can be confirmed with a good diagnostic scan tool such as a Dealer level Tech 2 tool, if you need this done and would like a $10 GM rental car while yours is being diagnosed and repaired please call 757-456-0722 and ask for Jake or Roy
