Suspect 'in tank' fuel level sending unit .. As long as it's working correctly from 3/4 to empty, I think I'd just drive on... This sending unit/fuel pump module is accessible from trunk area, it can easily be tested to confirm problem .. However suggest replacement of complete fuel pump module assembly 'IF' you decide to fix it.
