Car stalls at high speeds-dealer says it is locked up transmission

What is your question?

replaced crank sensor did not help. One mechanic said it could be a ignition module. The buick dealer says it is an overheated "lock up" transmission.

What makes this problem better or worse?

when driving over 45 mph
