A warning light keeps coming on saying engine hot AC off

Hello, something is providing data to share that there is something overheating the engine. This could be a real situation, or a sensor reading erroneously. As serious damage can occur with an overheating engine, I would err on the side of caution and find out what is going on with the engine temperature issue in before driving further.
