Hello, Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. This one is a difficult one to figure out. You will need to have some hands-on testing, using diagnostic tools that can interface with the engine processor to figure out what is going on. If it is something that is resolved when the vehicle is shut off and restarted, it sounds almost like an electronic concern more than a hydraulic concern. This could mean a sensor or switch is failing instead of an internal transmission hydraulic component. I can't be sure because I can't test it from here. It could be electronic, it could be hydraulic. Either way, some professional testing is really needed to sort out the concern. https://repairpal.com/auto-repair-near-me Click the link or call us at 877-913-1554.
