We just got this car breaks started scrubbing so we changed front first , front breaks were good still changed them anyway, week later changed back breaks , they were bad. After changed back breaks got in the car to test drive backed up the driveway put in drive and went 3 feet car started making a loud clanking noise in the front of the car and front wheels locked up , it wouldn't move , you can shift to reverse and mash the gas it starts to move an inch and makes loud clanking noise wont move , shift to drive it starts to move an inch makes loud clanking noise wont move. It's was just stuck in the middle of the road had to get. Rollback to come get it. When they pulled it up on the rollback it made the most awful clanking sound being dragged. Wheels wouldn't turn freely at all. What is wrong with it? Please help. It also has broken motor Mount would that have anything to do with it. It bumps going from breaking to acceleration on turns and such.

Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! This Lacerne needs a brake! See what I did there? Since the front end is locked up and making loud clanking noises after you changed the brakes, it might be a stuck brake caliper or a jammed brake pad, especially if something wasn't reassembled properly. The best thing is to take the front brakes apart and double-check your work. Given how bad it sounds and the wheels locking up, I'd recommend having it towed to a mechanic to diagnose and fix the issue. Hope you get it sorted out quickly! Good luck!
