On rough or bumpy roads (even small bumps), the car hammers you like there is no suspension even on the car. In the backseat it is literally painful to sit in cause it bangs so hard.

Hi - Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. I would recommend checking the suspension in the front and rear of the vehicle. Check for any loose or worn components. It's obvious to think that maybe shock absorbers are not doing the job, so make sure those are inspected closely for any signs of leakage, and for excessive bouncing. Or, they could be locked and you need to check for that as well. If your vehicle is equipped with an air suspension, this could mean that there is a ride height, sensor, issue, or a compressor venting issue.
