What is your question?

My hood won't close all the way and I tried the rubber bumbers an it didn't help would it cause my battery to die if it says on my dashboard to check my hood and how would I fix hood to where it closes all the way so it doesn't show up on my dash board

What makes this problem better or worse?

Engine is fine

Hello, There is likely an obstruction in the hinge, or something overlooked that is sitting in the way. Also, the latch could be preventing it from closing, as could the engine cover being incorrectly seated. When did the problem start? What caused it?
