Where would I locate the ground for my fuel sensor?I suspect this it the problem

I have disconnected the positive side of my battery and waited a few seconds and reattached it. The fuel gauge works again, sometimes for 2-3 weeks, before I have to redo this procedure. There are no error codes when the fuel sensor fails. So, with that, I feel the ground is the culprit. Anyone know where to find it? Blackie
