Hello, $200-300 would be amazing to be assured a fix of this problem! Trouble is, we can't hear the noise over the Internet. If I had to guess, I'd say it was some kind of mode or blend door actuator in the heating and air conditioning system that may be malfunctioning. If this is the case, that price is reasonable. That said, I can't say for sure. Good luck!
