What is your question?
whenever it dies the battery light shows up but if i floor it it goes away but whenever i come to a stop or slow down it just stalls and i have to put it in park and then start it back up. but whenever i go to start it back up it just wants to sputter and keep dying. it only happens after i drive it for awhile. every morning it drives fine but if i drive it to the store and come back it starts doing it like only when the engine is warmed up significantly. at least after a 30 mile drive and back it starts doing it on the way back. i've changed fuel filter and fuel pump seems to be ok as well as i cleaned the maf sensor not sure what else to do but i need it fixed bad it's affecting my ability to get places..
What makes this problem better or worse?
nothing makes it better and nothing really makes it worse either

Hi, my name is Devin. I am an auto repair expert with the Car Genius team here at RepairPal. So sorry to hear you're having trouble with your vehicle. Your LeSabre dying after driving for a while, especially when the engine is warmed up, could be related to a few things. If the battery light is coming on, I would start by looking at the charging system. When the engine warms up, it could be causing the alternator to fail or the connections to become loose. Check the alternator belt for wear and make sure it's tight. Also, have the alternator tested to see if its output is sufficient. Another thing to look at is the battery itself—sometimes heat can affect its performance. If everything seems okay with the alternator and battery, check for any loose or corroded wiring connections. If you need more advice, have any other questions about your vehicle, or would like to get connected to a RepairPal Certified shop near you, we have you covered.
