Got a jump checked voltage to alt. and battery was charging then drove to auto zone got them to check the load on battery said to replace battery got new battery started and ran fine parked and now its dead again need HELP PLEASE need my wheels. Could it be a bad security system??

If the battery is draining with the car just sitting overnight it's possible there is a short somewhere, most likely spot, if it's not an obvious wiring fault, is the alternator. Shorted diodes will cause the battery to go dead with the car off. Test by replacement. However, it is also possible that there is a stuck relay somewhere as well, this type of thing can be very difficult to diagnose.
Thank you for replying. I replaced the battery, also a modular located behind back seat, lights on dash went away started up and ran fine cranked up every time for a few days. Now its hit or miss with it starting, but with the unhooking & re hooking battery car cranks over every time. Battery is not being drained don't understand some thing mustn't be communicating within car. Spent three hours at garage checking leads from front fuse box to back fuse box came up with that modular that we changed out. PUZZLED!!!
