What is your question?

To install a window regulator on a 2001 buick LaSabre custom why would you cut the cable attached to the bottom of the old lift mechanism? Which cable? Where are the two openings ( one round & 1 square) near the top of the sheet metal? I see a round one but not a square one? Please send info & pictures if possible.
