How do I remove the upper back rest on the rear seat?

Useally there are bolts at the bottom of the back rest that need to be removed or it has a metal frame that fits in 2 slots. The later requires some strenght pulling up at bottom of seatback to release. In both cases the bottom chusion needs to be removed first.
